American Idol bids farewell to talented crooner, Joshua Ledet.  The 20-year old Idol from Westlake, Louisiana who made Jennifer Lopez speak in different languages failed to garner enough votes to keep him in the competition. Apparently, his stellar voice and outstanding stage presence weren’t enough to influence voters.

The stage is now set for a final sing off between 21-year Phillip Phillips from Leesburg Georgia and 16-year old Filipino-American Jessica Sanchez from San Diego, California.  The top two Idols who earned a slot in the finale will perform live on Tuesday evening at 8:00 Eastern time on Fox (Wednesday morning in the Philippines). The Idol winner will be announced on Wednesday night’s show.
