News in the comics world moved fast after Comic-Con, so let's get right to it:
Avengers teaser trailer: There's actually not much to see here, but I know a few people would lynch me if I didn't lead with the latest in Avengers movie news, even if all it consists of is a logo and a Nick Fury voiceover. (Comics Alliance)

The real superheroes in pictures: Some people like wearing costumes outside of themed weddings and conventions--and actually fighting crime (or some level of it). These real superheroes have now been immortalized in superhero-movie poster form. Let's just hope they don't end up like most of the heroes in Kick-Ass… (Bleeding Cool)

Superman saves home from foreclosure: Not literally true, but close enough: A family about to lose their home is cleaning up their storage, and discover a forgotten copy of Action Comics #1. The unsung heroes here are the folk from Metropolis Comics, who managed to convince the most likely clueless bank officials of the value of the find, which lead to the bank allowing the family to keep their home. If only all foreclosure stories ended on such a happy note. (ICv2)
