Sun will be offering the Blackberry on select stores initially like their shop at Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Metro East, Robinsons Manila, TriNoma, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Park Square, SM Marilao, SM Megamall, Festival Mall, SM North EDSA, SM Cebu and Ayala Cebu, but will be made available to all other Sun Shops in the future.
CNet on BlackBerry Bold 9700, “The RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700 boasts a sleeker design that includes an optical trackpad, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a brilliant display. The smartphone is 3G capable, and offers WiFi with UMA support, Bluetooth and GPS. It also gets a faster processor and updates to Blackberry OS 5.”
CrackerBerry.com gave the entry level BlackBerry Curve 8520, positive reviews, but it only comes with EDGE and WiFi unlike its older brother, the Bold 9700 which is 3G capable.
