This is Google celebrating 30 years of Pac-Man.
The Google homepage logo was turned into a javascript pacman game, naturally with the letters, "Google" in the game.
So fire up your browser and point your URL to Google and you'll find Pac-Man waiting for you! Look, I know you want to play, so go right a ahead. But come back here, ok?
Pacman was an arcade game in the 1980s by Namco. It was a stellar hit in Japan and the United States. The game was very popular with everyone.
The object of the game is simple. Eat all the dots (to go to the next level) without getting killed by Ghosts Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde. There are power pellets in strategic areas of the game. Eat one and you can eat the Ghosts. There are also fruits in the game that are bonuses.
Psyched for some mindless, addicting 80s game? Think you can get the perfect game? All it takes is to attain the maximum possible score on the first 255 levels, eating fruits, pellets and ghosts without dying. This is some mindless fun.
This is 30 years of Pac-Man and its simplicity is still addicting.
