A walk back in time through the Victorian Era that is steeped in femininity was what Pepsi Herrera and Edwin Tan’s Philippine Fashion Week holiday 2010 collection embodied. Every model looked like a woman walking out of a 19th century painting but dressed with a modern twist. The A-line cut mini-dresses and lace-trimmed bodice adorned with big, pouffed rosettes made of tulle-like material gave a contemporary interpretation of the Victorian fashion. The black, white, pastel, and off-gold colored pieces made out of fabrics like chiffon, satin and lace fitted perfectly with the figure-forming silhouettes. The mixture of structured contour and soft floral details made their collection a sure win for a red carpet or night-out outfit that is effortlessly elegant.
