Hats off to Chris Diaz’s 2010 collection, which takes us into the seductive mood and movement of tango. Drawing inspiration from the revolutionary Tango Renaissance in 1983, his pieces show Latin elements – flounces and frills in velvet tweed, satin, tulle, lace, georgette, and cotton.  Diaz’s collection of swimsuits, trunks, boleros, pants, blouses, and skirts in shades of black, white, orange, emerald, and hints of taupe and mustard, is filled with emotion, vibrancy, and desirability.
