Kenneth Chua always had an eye for the form-fitting show pieces. This time around, he takes it up a notch with carefully structured and tailored garments. His women’s wear celebrates the female curves in pointedly hourglass shapes, while the men don drop-crotched and overlapping pants paired with crisp suits. His palette for the holidays consists of luscious neutrals like beige, black and grey, punched up with royal blue and crimson. Asian styling completes the looks with top knots, wooden hair ornaments and embellished cut-outs for accents.
The inspiration for Kenneth Chua’s 2010 Holiday collection: mannequins with the perfect figure, come to life, and transforming themselves into beautiful pieces of clothing.
