It was a breathtaking performance from Bang Pineda and Tina Daniac. Their show was jampacked even though it was the last for the day and started late at around 10. It was worthwhile the wait though since these two feisty designers brought their stuff to the runway—and it was absolutely rocking!
First off is the men’s line from Vanguard Clubwear owner Bang Pineda. This icon of kapampangan style caters to men in the cosmopolitan scene who are hip, stylish, and avant-garde, and the pieces he showed last night was no exception.
With a collection entitled Damaged, it is enough to make you wonder and look. Pineda’s new line encapsulates the life and style of a fashion forward assassin in beautifully tailored suits and tuxedos, sleek trench coats and vests, biker-inspired sleeveless shirts and long sleeves, suspenders and surprisingly capelets. Perhaps Pineda was thinking of Sherlock Holmes but with a more crisp and edgy style. They were all in classy and dangerous black.

The whole line smacked of luxury coupled with a spatter of mystery, kind of like the James Bond appeal. It also helped that the models walked on the runway looking debonair and dashing but with a hint of bruteness. The choreography was also solid.
