With jolts of red, Russell Villafuerte pays homage to great fashion design icons. His collection celebrates the great designs of Rei Kawakubo, John Galliano, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, MIssoni, Christian Lacroix, Isabel Toledo, Vivienne Westwood, Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto and Alexander McQueen.  The rich red dresses featured were definitely meant to stand out from that sea of little black dresses. To update the look, the evening dresses were paired with black long satin gloves.
