Veteran fashion designer Frederick Peralta has been in the fashion industry for 27 years, constantly and continuously wowing the audience with his sexy and dramatic flair. His show for The Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010 was no difference.
Peralta’s runway was filled with excellently tailored classic tuxes, evening gowns sporting intricate cuts, and ball dresses sporting color gradients as its theme. The ball dresses came in pastel colors of green, pink, purple, yellow and red—a playful set which a debutante or any other female would covet to wear. A great contrast to his ball dresses was an enchanting black evening gown with red lining that had a haunting and mysterious appeal.

Aside from these dresses, his show also consisted of beautiful sparkly and hooded cocktail dresses and clam-shaped inspired cocktails. We had mixed feelings on the latter type though which tended to be a bit tacky for our taste.

His last dress was a stunning all black gown adorned with a beautiful complex neck detailing and a ruched tip. The ensemble is topped off by a feather headdress that completes the couture regal feel of the gown.
