PFW 2010: Alodia Cecilia for the Premier Collection

The second day of Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010 is kicked off by the Premier Collection, a two-part show characterized by classic and timeless garments, elegant and flattering forms, and light and delicate shades made for glamazons who are in the cosmopolitan scene.

The first part of the show featured the following top tier designers: Alodia Cecilia, Arnold Galang, John Paras, Kristel Yulo and Veejay Floresca.

The show started with three models wearing Cecilia’s nude-toned pieces positioning themselves in front of the crowd, posing and showing off the clothes. After they left the runway, the lights lit up and Cecilia’s other models walked in donning sleek and chic cocktail dresses, button down-tops and sparkly skirts and bodycons with back baring cutouts in black and grey. Her pieces shifted from muted colors to bright solid colors with a purple gradient cocktail dress with ruche trimmings. Cecilia’s last dress was a beautiful satin ruched dress with a sweetheart neckline that gracefully bounced off the model’s feet.
