Another surprising collection was from Ruedas who incorporated showbiz and political icons in his dresses, kimono and one-shoulder tops, skirts and even scarves. It was amusing to see the faces of Ninoy Aquino, Bayani Fernando, Nora Aunor, Erap, and Sharon Cuneta (to name a few) printed on the fabric. We love the statement that Ruedas made - that showbiz is inexorably and unavoidably mixed with Philippine politics. Very timely, considering the results of the latest elections.
