Members of militant group Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino (BMP) and Sanlakas partylist hold a demonstration today in the front gate of House of Representatives to demand legislators to once and for all enact the bill that will lower their income tax obligation.

The militants will insist that the call for tax breaks are not only urgent, justified but also an act
of justice to rectify the policy of providing billions of pesos annually to multinational companies
in form of tax breaks and incentives.

On interview with Bukluran ng Manggagagawa Pres. Leody de Guzman, they challenge lawmakers to prioritize the enactment of a pending bill that will exempt fixed and salaries employees earning below 180 thousand pesos annually from paying income taxes in doing so will be awarded with the votes of the wage earns next year.
