There were 40 principal sponsors including Kris Aquino and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos; 18 groomsmen, 18 bridesmaids, and 25 secondary sponsors. The couple exchanged meaningful vows.
Dantes to Rivera: “In this new lifetime that we will have, I now can see clearly the ending that I’ve always imagined, but what matters most is the journey on how to get there.”
“And for as long as I am with you, it does not matter where. I can jump off any cliff no matter how high, as long as I know you are there holding my hand.”
“Today, I found the reason why I was born – and that is to love, and to love greatly.”
(Thank you, because you completed the meaning of a real happy life. Thank you because on this day, you have given me one of my one of my biggest dreams.)
“Salamat dahil ikaw ang sagot sa lahat ng dasal ko na ibinigay sa akin ng Panginoon. Salamat dahil kinumpleto mo ang ibig sabihin ng totoong buhay.” (Thank because you are the answer to all my prayers that God granted. Thank you because you completed the meaning of real life.)
“Palagi mong tatandaan na mahal na mahal kita, higit pa sa buhay ko.” (Always remember that I love you very much, more than my own life.)
After the wedding, Dantes shared a photo of him and his bride kissing with the caption: “My wife #theBeginning”.
The reception of the royale couple was held at the Mall of Asia Arena. The venue which is popular for sporting events and concerts was transformed into a breathtaking garden. Tables were adorned in red cloth, beautiful floral arrangements, and elegant settings. Beautiful chandeliers made the venue look regal. The guests were treated to an Italian banquet by Chef Margarita “Gaita” Fores of Cibo.
The couple’s towering 3D mapped12-foot cake from Goldilocks was so spectacular that it even caught the attention of international media. Many tagged it as a “magical cake”.
