Of Monsters and Men Live in Manila – May 12

Of Monsters and Men is an indie folk-pop band from Reykjavík Iceland, formed in 2010. The group is composed of Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, Ragnar Þórhallsson, Brynjar Leifsson, Kristján Páll Kristjánsson, and Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson. Listen to their hits “Little Talks”, “Dirty Paws” and more songs from their 2015 record “Beneath the Skin.” They are set to perform live on May 12, 2016 at the World Trade Center.

Tangoblitz – May 13

Experience a mesmerizing evening of tango magic featuring top Argentine tango dancers from Buenos Aires on May 13, 2016 at the Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (CCP Little Theater).

Be captivated by different genres including the elegant Tango Salon and the more popularized Tango Ecsenarion. The show is followed by a dinner reception referred to as Milonga and Tango social dancing featuring international DJs.

Julie Anne San Jose In Control – May 14

Julie Anne San Jose first appeared on national television at the age of three when she won as runner-up in Eat Bulaga’s Little Miss Philippines. Years later, she became a contract artist of GMA Network. She was also part of the band Sugarpop.

San Jose’s solo performances in uStream and YouTube made her an online sensation. Her cover of Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass received 17,981,889 views and counting.

Aside from singing, San Jose can also play a variety of musical instruments like the piano, guitar, drums, ukulele, and flute.

She has been dubbed as “Asia’s Pop Sweetheart.” Her self-titled album “Julie Anne San Jose” sold more than 150,000 units in the Philippines alone.

Her hit tracks include “I’ll Be There,” “Right Where You Belong,” “Kung Maibabalik Ko Lang,” “Deadma,” “Bakit Ngayon,” “Baby You Are,” “Enough,” “Tulad Mo,” “Not Impresssed,” “Pagbangon,” and “Tidal Wave.”

British girl group Little Mix is coming to Manila as part of their”Get Weird” tour. Little Mix is composed of Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson

Florence LaRue And The 5th Dimension – May 24

The 5th Dimension is a popular American music vocal group in the 1960s. Resorts World Manila in cooperation with Ultimate Shows, Inc. presents Magic of Soul to celebrate the music of the 60’s and the 70’s. The group composed of Curtis Lee Scott, Leanne Sandy, Christian Jules, Angela Hurst, Derek Aidoo, Reniece Thomas and Andre’ Clements will sing the hits of Jackson 5, Supremes, Four Tops, Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie, Diana Ross, Isley Brothers, Mary Wells and more.

Jason Derulo’s Live in Manila – May 27

Jason Derulo started out in the music industry as a song writer and producer. He worked with artists like Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Tyga, 2Chainz, Pitbull, Lil Wayne, and Sean Kingston.

In 2009, he launched himself as a solo artist with the release of his first single called “Whatcha Say.” Derulo’s other hits include “Talk Dirty,” “In My Head,” “Wiggle (feat. Snoop Dogg),” “Ridin’ Solo,” “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” “Trumpets,” “It Girl,” “The Other Side,” “Marry Me,” “What If,” “Fight For You,” “If It Ain’t Love,” and “Undefeated.”

The pop and urban artist has sold over 50 million singles worldwide, two billion views on YouTube and 1 billion plays on Spotify. Eleven of his songs reached the Top 10 on the Top 40 charts including four number 1 hits.
