Willie Nepomuceno – The Votes of the Philippines (THE REPEAT) – March 20
Veteran satirist-impersonator Willie Nepomuceno is back to present a parody of local politics in “The Votes of the Philippines”. The show spoofs politicians who are expected to run in the coming 2016 Philippine elections. The “presidential hopefuls” join the popular reality talent search “The Voice Philippines” and will be “judged” by look-alikes of apl.de.ap, Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo. Nepomuceno will spoof personalities such as vice-president Jejomar Binay, senators Grace Poe, Mar Roxas and Miriam Defensor-Santiago. Frida Nep joins her dad on stage as the president’s sister and an “benefactor of corrupt senators”. Nepomuceno is known for his knack of transforming hot and serious topics like politics into something funny and entertaining.
