President Benigno Aquino III confirmed today that he and media personality Grace Lee are dating.

The president revealed the news during the 25th anniversary rites of the Philippine Information Agency.

"We're seeing each other," Aquino told reporters in an ambush interview.

The news, which has been rumored since Lee's colleague Mohan “Mo Twister” Gumatay tweeted about a date between the president and Lee, has been denied by Lee in the past.

Grace Lee and the president first met last year at the inauguration of the Korea Electric Power Corporation power plant in Cebu.

29-year-old Grace Lee is a TV and radio personality fluent in Tagalog and Cebuano. Like the president, she graduated from Ateneo de Manila University.

President Aquino, 52 in a week, is the country's first unmarried president. He has been linked in the past to celebrity stylist Liz Uy, stockbroker Len Lopez, Bais City Mayor Karen Villanueva, Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, actress Iza Calzado and Sabrina Chua of Singapore-based Channel News Asia.

His last girlfriend, Valenzuela Councilor Shalani Soledad, recently married Pasig City Representative Roman Romulo. The president did not attend the wedding.
