VIDEO NEWS: Art on insurgency and freedom

VerseReverse is a timely art exhibit that features insurgency, peace, and efforts for national socio-economic reforms. Renan Ortiz's 4-part installation art was inspired by National Artist for Literature Bienvenido Lumbera's poem "Silang May Hawak ng Baril" and people's lawyer Edre Olalia's legal paper "The Status of LIberation Movements in International Law". Curated by Lian Ladia and Sid Perez, the exhibit runs from October 8 to 29, 2011 at the Republikha Art Gallery, at the Magnitude Building, Libis, Quezon City.

Renan Ortiz's VerseReverse is first of a 4-part gallery exhibit titled "Sprout" organized by Plantingrice.com.
